LaproFlex monopolar hook used during laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Reaching of anatomical planes

Problem

Swollen gallbladder

A swollen gallbladder is difficult to grab and cumbersome to mobilize to a position so that a monopolar hook is able to cut the along the recess with the liver.
Multiple re-allocations of instruments are required and in some cases an additional entry point has to be made. Or the hook is forced into the liver and gallbladder. This often requires large forces that may damage the liver and causes physical stress in the hands of the surgeon, hindering the accuracy of the dissecting.

“The LaproFlex monopolar hook can reach all sides of the gallbladder to dissect gently from the liver.”

Solution

The LaproFlex hook can be steered exactly into the recess

The LaproFlex monopolar hook can be bend around the liver, over the gallbladder and in between the graspers so that it exactly follows the contour of the gallbladder.

“The LaproFlex monopolar hook can reach under the gallbladder for easy dissection from the liver.”
